Nurul Arifin Reminds Airlangga Hartarto's Services Between Jokowi And Jokowi To Return To President

JAKARTA - Airlangga Hartarto resigned from his position as General Chair of the Golkar Party. Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Nurul Arifin, reminded that during Airlangga's leadership since 2017, Golkar has spawned a number of significant achievements, one of which is to bring Jokowi Widodo back to being president.

"During his tenure, Airlangga Hartarto succeeded in bringing the Golkar Party to great success in several important moments. In the 2019 election, under his leadership, Golkar played a key role in bringing Joko Widodo back to the seat of President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2019-2024 period," said Nurul Arifin to reporters, Monday, August 12.

This success was continued with a victory in the 2020 Pilkada, where Golkar managed to win 165 of the 270 regions that held the Pilkada.

"Furthermore, in the 2024 General Elections and Presidential Elections, Airlangga and Golkar succeeded in bringing together presidential and vice presidential candidates, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, winning the 2024 presidential election," he said.

In the Legislative Election (Pileg), continued Nurul, Golkar under Airlangga's leadership won 14.4 percent of the votes, increasing the number of seats in the DPR to 102 seats for the 2024-2029 period, which is equivalent to 18 percent of the total seats in the DPR.

In its capacity as Coordinating Minister for the Economy, according to Nurul, Airlangga also succeeded in leading the country through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and introducing the Job Creation Law which revolutionizes laws and regulations in Indonesia.

The deputy chairman of the Golkar Party for Communication is also grateful for Airlangga Hartarto's dedication during his visit to the Golkar Party. According to Nurul, the achievements achieved during his leadership have made a major contribution to the party and nation.
