Israeli Army Will Attack Khan Younis Again, Residents Moved From Al Jalaa's Humanitarian Safe Zone

JAKARTA - The Israeli army ordered Khan Younis residents to flee the Al Jalaa region in Khan Younis, who was previously designated a "safe humanitarian zone" by the army. The order to leave the al-Jala region, which will no longer be part of the humanitarian zone, was delivered by Israeli military authorities in a statement on Sunday.

They claim that Palestinian resistance group Hamas is "operating" in Al Jalaa and the area will be a "dangerous combat zone."

Although Israeli soldiers have previously designated certain locations as "safe locations," they continue to attack the area. As a result, many casualties among Palestinians.

On Saturday, Israeli planes attacked Palestinians who were performing dawn prayers at Al-Taba'een School in Al-Daraj neighborhood, Gaza City. As a result, at least 100 people were killed and several others injured.

Although on Thursday there have been calls from mediators, including Egypt, the US and Qatar, for Israel and Hamas to stop hostilities, reach a ceasefire, and hostage exchange agreements, Zionist forces continue to launch deadly attacks on Gaza.

Since the October 7, 2023 war broke out following a cross-border Hamas attack, an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip has killed nearly 39,800 Palestinians.

Israel's more than 10 months-long military brutal action also devastated much of Gaza's territory amid severe blockades to food, clean water, and medicines.

Israel is accused of committing genocide in the International Court (ICJ) and the court has ordered it to immediately stop its military operations in the southern city of Rafah, where more than one million Palestinians sought refuge from war before being attacked on May 6.
