Groundbreaking The Vice President's Palace, Ma'ruf Amin Flying To IKN

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin and Wury Ma'ruf Amin and a limited entourage left for the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim), Sunday, August 11.

During his working visit this time, the Vice President will lay the first stone (groundbreaking) in the Vice Presidential Palace area at IKN to attend the plenary cabinet meeting.

The Press Bureau of the Vice Presidential Secretariat informed that the Vice President and his entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta using the Presidential Special Aircraft Bae-RJ 85 at around 13.00 WIB to Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan Airport, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.

Upon arrival in Balikpapan, the Vice President will be greeted by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of East Kalimantan Province Sri Wahyuni and all members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of East Kalimantan Province.

After resting for a while, the Vice President and his entourage then immediately went to IKN. On the same night, at 20.00 WITA, the Vice President was scheduled to take part in a dinner with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet at Plaza Ceremony, Sumbu Kebangsaan. Furthermore, the Vice President will spend the night in Swissotel Nusantara.

The next day, Monday, August 12 at 09.30 WITA, the Vice President is scheduled to attend a plenary cabinet meeting with the President and ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet at the Garuda Palace. The cabinet meeting will discuss the President's directives on "Nusantara Baru, Indonesia Maju".

After attending the plenary cabinet session, the Vice President will conduct a groundbreaking in the Vice Presidential Palace area Phase I at 11.00 WITA. On that occasion, the Vice President will be accompanied by the Director General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of PUPR Diana Kusumastuti, Expert Staff of the Minister of PUPR for Technology, Industry, and Environment Endra S. Atmawidjaja and the Secretary of East Kalimantan Province Sri Wahyuni.

According to information, at the same time, President Jokowi plans to also conduct groundbreaking in several other locations in the IKN area.

On the third day of his visit to IKN, Tuesday, August 13, the Vice President at 09.00 WITA was scheduled to attend a Presidential briefing to regents/mayors throughout Indonesia at the State Palace.

After that, the Vice President will also attend a Presidential briefing to governors throughout Indonesia in the Courtroom of the 1st Floor Cabinet of the Garuda Palace at 10.30 WITA.

Furthermore, in the afternoon, at around 15:10 WITA, the Vice President and his entourage returned to Jakarta. In addition to Wury Ma'ruf Amin, he accompanied the Vice President on this working visit, namely the Head of the Secretariat of the Vice President Ahmad Erani Yustika, Deputy for Administration Sapto Harjono W.S., Special Staff of the Vice President for General Affairs Masykuri Abdillah, Special Staff of the Vice President for Politics and Institutional Relations Robikin Emhas and the Vice Presidential Expert Team Farhat Brachma.
