SURABAYA - The Surabaya City Government and Persebaya management signed an agreement regarding the utilization of Gelora 10 November Stadium (G10N) and Gelora Bung Tomo (GBT).

This agreement is the result of an audience between the Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi, and Persebaya and Bonek at the Surabaya City Hall. The audience was also attended by the Head of the Surabaya Police, Kombes Johnny Eddizon Isir, along with several Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD).

The meeting, which took place in style and was interspersed with some typical Suroboyoan jokes, finally resulted in seven points of mutual agreement. The agreement was signed by representatives of Persebaya management and the Youth and Sports Agency as well as puppet representatives.

The agreement states that Persebaya can use the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium for matches and Gelora 10 November and 3 (three) Intermediate Courts in the Bung Tomo Gelora complex for training after repairs are completed in June 2021.

In addition, he said, the Surabaya City Government's plan to form a soccer training academy would later collaborate with Persebaya management. The goal is to make Surabaya children become great soccer players.

"Because after all the children of Surabaya, if they become good players, they will be proud when they defend Persebaya," said Eri Cahyadi.

Eri Cahyadi emphasized the importance of collaboration between the municipal government, Persebaya management and Bonek. For Eri Cahyadi, any problem will be easily resolved if it is done with a cool head and sitting together.
