PDIP Immediately Announces Candidates For The Head Of The First Wave Area

BOGOR - PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said his party would immediately announce the recommendation of the name of the first phase regional head candidate to be promoted in the 2024 Pilkada.

"Yes, there are quite a lot (recommendations for regional head candidates) and even on Sunday it will also be continued and it is planned that the PDI-P will immediately announce the first phase, the time will be adjusted to the schedule from Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, Mas Prananda and Mbak Puan Maharani, so that the first batch of announcements for this regional head candidate will be carried out soon," said Hasto after the National Training of the Winning Team for the Regional Head of the 4th Wave PDIP Regional Head in Bogor, West Java, reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 9.

Even so, a number of areas are still under investigation, namely DKI Jakarta, West Java, East Java, Bali and Central Java.

"Of course, some areas that are ready and have participated in the training of the first to fourth batch (group) winning team. Some of the areas that are still being explored are the areas of Jakarta, then West Java, East Java, Bali, Central Java, and also several other provinces. But in general, for districts/cities, it is ready," he said.

"Why has not been announced in the province, because there is a connection between one region and another. For example, in Riau we cooperate with PKB even though the winner of the election is from the PDI-P but as a candidate for governor who is promoted is from PKB," he continued.

Hasto also admitted that he had communicated with other political parties. According to him, the most cooperation is carried out with the Hanura Party.

"So, wait for the momentum, it is targeted that the first wave will be announced soon," concluded Hasto.
