Regarding Hasto's Continuation Examination In The Harun Masiku Case, The KPK Is Still Waiting For Investigators' Readiness

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has not informed the follow-up examination of the PDI-P Secretary General (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto in the bribery case of Harun Masiku and DJKA. Investigators are still setting the time. "For Mr. HK, we will wait for the readiness of his investigators," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters quoted on Friday, August 9. Tessa said investigators could not simply change the plans that had been made. Moreover, in these two cases there must have been other witnesses scheduled. "So we'll just wait for when he is scheduled to summon him, both in the case of HM and DJKA suspects," said the spokesman with the investigator's background. Previously, the KPK summoned PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto in the case of the DJKA bribery of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub). He was questioned on Friday, July 19.

However, Hasto could not attend because he was scheduled to chair an internal party meeting. Moreover, he did not understand the information about the summons from the driver because he was outside Jakarta. Meanwhile, in the bribery case, Harun Masiku, Hasto at that time asked for a postponement of the examination. This step was taken after investigators confiscated his cellphone and agenda from Kusnadi, who was his staff.
