KPK Hopes That The Capim And Dewas Pansel Will Not Be Intervened By Any Parties

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the selection process for leadership candidates (capim) and supervisory boards being carried out by the selection committee (pansel) should not be intervened by anyone. Everything must run professionally.

"We believe the Pansel has carried out the selection process professionally, yes, and well. And we also hope that the process will be without intervention from any party and we believe that this is what the Pansel has done," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 8.

Tessa emphasized that many hope that the selection committee will work to choose the best figure as the leader and supervisory board. Thus, the eradication of corruption in the future will be maximized.

"I think all KPK personnel also hope that later the best Capim and council will be elected," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

As previously reported, the written test for KPK leadership candidates was attended by 230 participants. Of these, 40 of them passed.
