JAKARTA - United States security forces announced the perpetrator of a brutal shooting that killed 10 people at a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado, Monday, March 21.

The suspect was identified as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, 21, who hails from the suburb of Denver, Arvada. Security officials say he stormed the King Soopers supermarket in Booulder with an AR-style semi-automatic weapon, a pistol and a tactical vest.

All of this evidence was recovered after the arrest, according to a written statement of the arrests, according to Reuters. The statement also stated that the suspect purchased the AR-556 semi-automatic weapon on March 16, or six days before the shooting.

"Her sister-in-law told police on Monday night that Alissa had 'played with' a firearm which she described as resembling a 'machine gun', two days before the attack. It angered family members," the statement said.

Tuesday afternoon, Alissa was released from the hospital where she was being treated with a gunshot wound to the leg, to be taken to the regional prison, where she is serving detention pending trial.

As a result of this shooting, Alissa will face 10 counts of first degree murder and counts of attempted murder. Authorities have not announced a possible motive for the shooting.

"It's too early for us to draw any conclusions at this point," Michael Schneider, the agent in charge of the FBI's field office in Denver, Colorado, told a news conference.

Meanwhile, Ali Aliwi Alissa, the brother of the shooter, told The Daily Best, his sibling is anti-social and paranoid.

Arvada Police Department spokeswoman said Alissa had at least two legal records. First, criminal reports of third degree attacks in 2017, then crimes in 2018.

Alissa is known to have graduated from Arvada West High School in May 2018, according to school district spokesman Cameron Bell. Records show he was on the wrestling team for two seasons, he said. Meanwhile, an archived Facebook page that appears to belong to Alissa says she's interested in computer science and kick-boxing.
