BMKG forecaster Andika F Hapsari said a number of major cities in Sumatra have the potential to rain, such as Pekanbaru, Padang, Bengkulu, Medan, and Tanjung Pinang.
"Meanwhile, Banda Aceh and Jambi are forecasted to be thick cloudy, while Pangkal Pinang and Palembang are cloudy," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 7.
