JAKARTA - A number of community groups formed the Nusantara Build Movement (Gerbangtara) which aims to support the development and relocation of the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN).
The Coordinator of the Gerbangtara Consortium, Aie Natasha, said that the form of support provided was to mobilize and orchestrate the potential and talents of the nation.
"I hope that the development of IKN will not only talk about infrastructure, but also human development. And I believe this is the right time to realize Indonesia's flashlight, from a good idea to a concrete movement," said Aie in his statement, Monday, August 5.
Gerbangtara is a form of collaboration between private elements and civil society organizations supported by various ministries and institutions.
Expert Staff of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Laurentius Patria, added that the presence of Gerbangtara is considered a catalyst to create space for civil society to strengthen each other. In addition, it can be involved in IKN development.
"I imagine, Gerbangtara can be a good momentum for mutual cooperation, where each party can contribute optimally," said Patria.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Communication and Policy Strategy Team of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Wildanshah, said that the implementation of the Gerbangtara and ASN Fest involving various ministries and institutions was a concrete form of implementation of Presidential Decree 43 of 2022 concerning Strategic Coordination of the Cross-Sector for the Implementation of Youth Services.
