JAKARTA - The shuttle Warrior again held the First View Person (FPV) Drone Freestyle competition. The event, which was held for two days, August 3-4, 2024 at Bukit Gajah, Cijeruk, Bogor, West Java, was attended by hundreds of FPV pilots.

The participants who attended and participated in this competition came from various regions. Outside Jabodetabek, there are several pilots from Sukabumi, Cilegon Banten and Bali.

Not only that, there is another sensation that FPV pilots can enjoy, namely the camp at the foot of Mount Salak. They stay one night using a tent, and can enjoy the dawn as well as the cool air at the foot of Mount Salak.
No less interesting, camp participants can fly in the morning, recording beautiful views in the cool air.
Luthfi or Upay, as chairman of the committee from Throttle Warrior, said this event was created to strengthen the relationship between fellow FPV pilots and enjoy the natural beauty at the foot of Mount Salak.
"Throttle Warriors held an FPV Drone Camp event as a means of direct communication. Yes, the event got together to camp while playing FPV at the foot of Mount Salak." said Upay.
Upay explained that 100 FPV Freestyle Camp 2024 participants, but 34 pilots competed.
This means that many participants are willing to participate, just enjoy gathering with FPV pilots and also feel the sensation of flying at the foot of Mount Salak with FPV drones.
The FPV freestyle competition took place on the second day, Sunday, August 4, 2024. Before it started, the FPV pilot known as the long range FPV pilot Andrea Ramadhan held a demonstration. He flew the drone to the top of Mount Salak.

Upay again explained that this competition was divided into two categories for beginners and professionals, namely Open Air and Proxy.
Flying for 1 minute 20 seconds, the participant pilots will be assessed by 3 judges, namely, Gunawan (Om Gun), Ali (Kang Kayu) and Dano. The three judges are experienced drone pilots in different categories.
The jury's flying style assessment consists of several elements, such as aesthetics, tricks and flow. Participants are also required to focus on having this element, with two batteries allowed by the jury.
