Courier For 944 Ecstasy Arrested In Front Of The Central Jakarta Court Received A Commission Of IDR 5 Million

JAKARTA - The police arrested a man with the initials AM (34) who was a drug courier for the type of ecstasy pills totaling 944 points. This courier commission is IDR 5 million.

The suspect was arrested in front of the Central Jakarta District Court on Jalan Bungur Besar Raya, Gunung Sahari, Kemayoran on Saturday, February 27 evening.

Head of Central Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, Kompol Indrawienny Panjiyoga, said the suspect received a commission of IDR 5 million for each shipment of goods.

"The suspect's confession, he gets IDR 5 million from each taking of goods", said Indrawienny Panjiyoga as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 23.

Indrawienny explained that the suspect AM had already made two shipments of goods. The first was carrying 500 ecstasy pills, then the second with 944 pills.

The mode used by the suspect, namely pinching the ecstasy with a total of 944 items weighing 292.64 grams between the legs of the thigh and sitting on the motorcycle seat used by the suspect.

In his confession, the suspect AM was about to bring the ecstasy to his house located in North Jakarta to wait for further orders from his friend, F.

The police are still investigating the origin of the ecstasy item and someone with the initials F who is the superior of AM.

"While we secure it in the investigation that he is a courier. He took goods ordered by his superior. The team is working to reveal who he took from whom and who ordered whom", said Indrawienny.
