JAKARTA - The National Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating whether or not there are criminal violations resulting from the analysis of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) related to 92 accounts of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). And this is also what the defendant Rizieq complained about in front of the panel of judges at the East Jakarta District Court.

During the virtual trial, Rizieq Shihab complained that his family was under pressure as a result of the Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) being blocked.

"I was under tremendous pressure, the organization was dissolved, my family had all their ATMs frozen," Rizieq said during a trial at the East Jakarata District Court, Tuesday, November 23.

In blocking accounts, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) does it. A total of 92 accounts affiliated with the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) were blocked. The blocking was carried out by PPTAK because they suspected that there had been criminal offenses in the tens of accounts.

Bareskrim Polri has received the results of analysis of 92 accounts of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) and related parties from the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). From this analysis, the police conducted a case title on 2 February.

The title of the case involved several parties, including the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes, Densus 88 Anti-terror, and the PPATK. The Densus 88 Anti-terror was involved because there was a suspicion that there was a connection with the flow of funds to the terrorism network.

Previously, the panel of judges at the East Jakarta District Court decided to grant Rizieq Shihab's request to appear in person at the trial for the alleged violation of the health protocol (prokes) in Petamburan.

So, Rizieq will later read out the objection or exception note in person at the next trial on Friday, March 26.

"Granted the petition (present offline)," said the presiding judge Suparman Nyompa.

Agreement to Adhere to Health Protocols, But Not Out of Court

Rizieq Shihab's team of attorneys have signed a letter of agreement to comply with health protocols when the trial was held in person. They guarantee there is no crowd.

"Yes, we (have) signed (the agreement)," said one team of Rizieq Shihab's lawyers, Ramdhan Alamsyah.

Confirmed whether the guarantee of the crowd inside and outside the court. Alamsyah emphasized that the point is that his party will carry out health protocols when the trial is running.

"At the East Jakarta Court," said Alamsyah.

Meanwhile, for those outside the court, his party advised not to crowd. Moreover, Rizieq Shihab's wish had been granted.

"Outside of that, we only appeal not to crowds. We guarantee what is inside," said Alamsyah.

"Those outside we urge not to crowd and order the traffic, which we guarantee is indoors and in the court yard," he said.
