At The Palace, Menpora Dito Sapa Coordinating Minister For Human Development And Culture Muhadjir: Mr. Mining Chair

JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo joked by calling the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy as "Mr. Mining Head".

The moment began when Menpora Dito arrived at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, on Thursday, August 1, at around 13.25 WIB. He went to the Palace to attend an internal meeting with President Joko Widodo about the revitalization of the stadium.

A few minutes later, Coordinating Minister Muhadjir followed behind Dito. Dito was aware of Muhadjir's presence.

Dito then turned around and greeted Muhadjir by taking his hand.

"Mr. Chairman, Mr. Mining Chair," said Dito with a smile.

Muhadjir also replied briefly while smiling by answering, "Snaking this."

Previously, the Muhammadiyah Central Executive (PP) appointed Muhadjir Effendi as the head of the mining management team after the Islamic organization decided to receive a mining business permit (IUP) from the government.

"We are compiling a mining management team chaired by Prof Muhadjir Efendy," said PP Muhammadiyah Chairman Haedar Nashir during a press conference at the Walidah Mosque Convention Hall, Universitas 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta (Unisa) in Sleman, DIY, Sunday (28/7).

Dalam struktur kepengurusan PP Muhammadiyah, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy menjabat sebagai ketua bidang ekonomi, bisnis, dan industri halal.

On that occasion, Haedar emphasized that the appointment of Muhadjir was not in the position of Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture.

PP Muhammadiyah also decided to accept mining business permits (IUP) offered by the government after observing input, studies, and several discussions at the PP Muhammadiyah plenary meeting on July 13, 2024.
