TANGERANG - The New Tangerang City Metro Police Building, stands towering on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Babakan Village, Tangerang City. The construction of this building was hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed when the Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho took office. This building was built with a grant budget from the Tangerang City Government and the Tangerang Regency Government.
The Tangerang City Metro Police Building stands on an area of 16,629 meters (derived from the status of State Property (BMN) from the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights in 2019). The building is located on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan No. 2 RT 02/RW 05 Babakan Village, Tangerang District, Tangerang City.
The New Building is named the Precision Building (Predictive, Responsibility and Transparency with Justice), which was echoed by the National Police Chief, General Drs Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

The Tangerang City Metro Police's New Building area consists of 6 Core buildings, namely: 6 floors of Main Building, 4 floors of Integrated Service Building, 2 floors of Mosque and 2 floors of Canteen Building, as well as 4 floors of Parking Building and 4 floors of Logistics / Sabhara Building which are currently still being planned for the construction process.
The 6-story Main Building is the operation center building of the Tangerang City Metro Police as a command center and operational control in maintaining and creating the Kamtibmas situation in 18 sub-districts (13 sub-districts in Tangerang City and 5 sub-districts in Tangerang Regency) which is the jurisdiction.
In this building there is an Operation Room, Command Center Room, Cyber Patrol Room, Vicon Room, Media Center Room, Multipurpose Hall, Staff Room and Meeting Room which are equipped with IT-based infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Tangerang Metro Police Chief Commissioner Pol Zain Dwi Nugroho has an office on the 6th floor.
"From the 6th floor, there is also a rooftop with beautiful views that can see the Cisadane River. Rooftop with the neatly arranged garden arrangement, usually used for the gathering of members and guests waiting to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while looking at the sunset view," said Zain smiling.
Meanwhile, behind the main building, there is an Integrated Service Building with 4 floors and is connected to a connecting bridge (Sky Bridge) for access to the two buildings. The Integrated Service Building is the Center (central) of all police services at the Tangerang City Metro Police.
On the 1st floor there are SKCK services, Sidik Jari, Licensing, Acceptance of Reports/Complaints at SPKT, Online SIM Extension Service, Online Ticket Service (ETLE), Propam Complaint Service, Special Counter Service for Vulnerable Groups and Bank Payment Services.
Meanwhile, on the 2nd floor, there is a Propam complaint service equipped with an examination room and courtroom. On the 3rd floor there is a witness examination room, PPA room and Restorative Justice room. Then the top or 4th floor is used for visiting prisoners and detention rooms services.
Zain, who has served as the Chief of Police 4 times before, said that the concept of Smart Building for the construction of the new Tangerang City Metro Police building is a combination of Smart building and Green building.
"Why do we combine this concept, to improve the quality of service to the community, including increasing transparency and accountability and comfort while in the Tangerang City Metro Police Building area," said Zain, Wednesday, July 31.
This Precision Building is equipped with an IT-based security system through the Visitor Management System and an integrated Service System in One Integrated Service Building. It is hoped that with this concept, the quality of service to the community will be better and will increase, especially in the Integrated Service Building, there are also friendly infrastructure facilities for vulnerable groups.
