Police Arrest 2 Teenagers With Sajam From Two Different Locations In West Jakarta

JAKARTA - The West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team managed to thwart a brawl between youth groups that occurred on Jalan Pesing, Kedaung Kaliangke, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. A perpetrator was arrested along with a sharp weapon.

Then when the Precision Team resumed patrols, the police again arrested a teenager who had two sickle blades and a comb machete on Jalan Raya Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

Head of Samapta Polres Metro West Jakarta, AKBP M. Hari Agung Julianto said that the teenager and the evidence of the weapons that were successfully secured were then taken to the Cengkareng Police for further investigation.

"We urge the entire community not to hesitate to report if they know of indications of brawls or other criminal acts. Cooperation between the community and the police is very important in creating a safe and comfortable environment," said AKBP M Hari when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, July 30.

This effort, he continued, is part of the police's commitment to maintaining security and order in the West Jakarta area.

"We continue to increase patrols and surveillance in various regions to prevent brawls and other crimes from occurring," he said.

AKBP M. Hari also appreciated the active role of the community in providing information that really helped the police in carrying out their duties.

He also invited the public to play an active role in maintaining the security of their respective environments by reporting all forms of suspicious activities to the police.
