KPK Cecar, The Boss Of Tambang Hader Albar, Regarding His Business In North Maluku

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is questioning Hader Albar regarding his mining business. The boss of PT Duta Halmahera Abadi and PT Duta Halsel Mining was questioned on Monday, July 29 yesterday.

"The examination was carried out at the Red and White KPK Building on behalf of HA, the President Director of PT Duta Halmahera Abadi and the President Director of PT Duta Halsel Mining," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, July 30.

Tessa said investigators confirmed a number of things. It is suspected that he was aware of the alleged corruption and money laundering that ensnared the inactive North Maluku Governor (Malut) Abdul Gani Kasuba.

"Confirmation of investigators (witnesses, ed) is present. Investigated regarding the ownership of the mine in question," he said.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission has summoned a number of mining company bosses. One of them is Setyo Mardanus who is the President Commissioner of PT Buli Mineralindo Utama, Commissioner of PT Buli Berlian Nusantara; Commissioner of PT Duta Halmahera Mineral; Director of PT Karya Bersama Mineral; and Commissioner of Berkarya Bersama Halmahera.

At that time, Setyo was also questioned about his mining business in North Maluku. This name is mentioned as someone close to the Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia in a note on the Mining Advocacy Network (JATAM) website.

Previously reported, the KPK named the inactive North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba as a suspect in the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU). The value of this fraudulent practice reached Rp. 100 billion based on a number of evidences pocketed by investigators.

The determination of this suspect was carried out as the development of the alleged bribery of goods and services procurement projects as well as the granting of permits within the North Maluku Provincial Government. He has been detained along with five other suspects since December 20 after being caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT).

The five suspects are the Head of the North Maluku Provincial Government Housing and Settlement Office, Adnan Hasanudin; Head of PUPR PUPR Maluku Provincial Government Daud Ismail; Head of BPPBJ North Maluku Provincial Government Ridwan Arsan; Ramadhan Ibrahim who is Abdul Gani's aide and the private sector, namely Stevi Thomas and Kristian Wuisan.
