Penajam Regency Government Grants Sepaku Hospital To OIKN, Value Reaches IDR 700 Billion

The Regency Government (Pemkab) of North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim), handed over a grant to the Sepaku Regional General Hospital (RSUD) to the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN).

The hospital is included in the area of the city of Nusantara, the capital city of Indonesia's new country. "The handover of assets belonging to the district government in the form of grants is part of the second phase, while stage one has been carried out some time ago," said Head of the Regional Finance and Assets Agency (BKAD) of North Penajam Paser Regency, Muhajir in Penajam, Monday, July 29, was confiscated by Antara.

The handover of assets belonging to the North Penajam Paser Regency Government which was handed over in stage one is the land that is Trunen's livestock village in Bumi Harapan Village, Sepaku District with an area of about 46 hectares.

In the land area that was handed over, there were also buildings for the regent's office, dozens of houses built through low-income community programs (MBR) and cattle cages.

"The handover of the assets was carried out through the signing of the Regional Grant Agreement (NPHD) between the district government and OIKN," he explained.

In the second stage, the assets of the North Penajam Paser Regency Government in Sepaku District will be handed over in the form of land, road and a number of buildings.

Building assets handed over in stage two apart from the Sepaku Hospital, according to him, are also puskesmas, sub-district and sub-district offices.

"Temporary calculations on the value of land and building assets are around Rp700 billion, the data is calculated in 2023," he added.

The North Penajam Paser Regency BKAD is still collecting data on the amount and value counts of assets belonging to the district government located in Sepaku District.

The North Penajam Paser Regency Government is still allocating a budget for infrastructure in Sepaku District, although in the future OIKN will be taken over.

"The district government cannot stop giving the budget because Sepaku District is still in the administrative area of North Penajam Paser Regency," said Muhajir.
