JAKARTA - A number of environmental activists broke into Gatwick Airport in England. They then lined up at the departure gate blocking passengers from flying.
Quoting The Sun, as many as seven activists from the Just Stop Oil group entered the airport's southern terminal at around 8 am, Monday 29 July.
They climb over the entrance area at Gatwick Airport departure terminal which is not well designed.
The airport confirmed that the seven had been arrested.
The action documentation was uploaded to the group's social media accounts. In the photo, it appears that activists line up while carrying orange posters with calls against the use of fossil fuels.
The focus of Just Stop Oil activists is targeting this airport after previously making actions block roads.
