No Longer A Central Java Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi Will Have A Position At The Ministry Of Trade

JAKARTA - The Central Java Police Chief, previously held by Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, has now been officially replaced by Brigadier General Pol Dr. Ribut Hari Wibowo. SH Sik, MH, who previously served as Head of the Career Development Bureau (Karo Binkar) of the National Police SSDM.

This mutation is stated in the Telegram Letter of the National Police Chief number ST/1554/VII/KEP/2024 dated July 26, 2024, which was signed by the Assistant Chief of Police for Human Resources Inspector General Pol Prof. Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M. Hum, M.Si, MM.

In this rotation and mutation, Inspector General of Police Ahmad Luthfi was transferred to the position of Pati Itwasum Polri in the context of assignments outside the structure, namely at the Ministry of Trade.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol Artanto, when confirmed explained that the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo rotated and mutated a total of 157 members from high-ranking officers (pati) to middle-ranking officers (pamen), including the Central Java (Central Java) Police Chief.

"Irjen Pol Ahmad Luthfi yang akan memasuki pulna tugas, ditempatkan sebagai Pati Itwasum Polri dengan assignment di Kementerian Perdagangan. Selama kurang lebih 4 tahun, beliau telah memimpin Polda Jateng dengan ketertihan dan integritas yang tinggi," ujar Kombes Pol Artanto, dalam keterangan tertulis, Minggu 28 Juli.

Kombes Artanto also added that this change was part of the dynamics of the National Police organization to refresh and improve performance.

"This mutation is a common thing within the National Police, to provide refresh and improve performance effectiveness. Brigadier General Ribut Hari Wibowo is expected to continue and improve the achievements and programs that have been initiated by Inspector General of Police Ahmad Luthfi," he added.
