JAKARTA - The 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Muhammad Jusuf Kalla attended the Muhammadiyah National Consolidation agenda at the Walidah Dahlan Mosque at the 'Aisyiah University (Unisa) campus in Yogyakarta, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, Saturday 27 July.
Head of the PP Muhammadiyah Office, Arif Nur Kholis, said that Jusuf Kalla as a national figure was one of the speakers regarding strategic issues in the forum which was attended by all Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders.
According to Arif, Jusuf Kalla has repeatedly attended the forum held by PP Muhammadiyah as a discussion partner.
In addition, Kalla has a special close relationship with one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia considering that her mother, Athirah Kalla, is one of the 'Aisyiyah' figures in South Sulawesi.
