NasDem Plans To Meet Anies With Prabowo At The Party Congress

General treasurer of the NasDem Party Ahmad Sahroni said his party opened up opportunities for the future governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan met with President-elect Prabowo Subianto at the III Congress of the NasDem Party. The NasDem Party Congress III is planned to be held on August 25-27, 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

According to him, Prabowo was invited to close the congress event. "Later at the same time, Mr. Anies and Mr. Prabowo came, the name of friendship is okay. It's not prohibited," said Sahroni at the NasDem Party DPP Office, Jakarta, Thursday, July 25, which was confiscated by Antara. He explained that the congress would also invite President Joko Widodo to open the event. He also considered it natural when political figures met in political party activities.

For example, he said, the meeting of political figures from different political parties also occurred on the birthday of the National Awakening Party (PKB) some time ago. "Yesterday at Harlah PKB, all parties met there. That's a gathering," he said.

Previously, the Chairperson of the NasDem Party DPP Willy Aditya said that NasDem would hold a Congress III on August 25-27, 2024, which took place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), and was planned to invite President Joko Widodo as the opening ceremony and Elected President for the 2024 General Election Prabowo Subianto as the closing of the event. Thousands of party cadres from all regions in Indonesia, according to him, will accommodate the location.

He said that the NasDem Party congress would be the largest because it was held virtually and physically with more than 100 thousand people to be involved. According to him, the congress of the party will be held based on three pillars, namely the pillars of pro women, pro-environment, to pro-pancasila. In addition, according to him, the congress will also be filled with two events, namely "ten dollars for humanity" based for Palestine, as well as the launch of books and films.
