Hasto Plans To Respond To KPK Calls Regarding The DJKA Case Next Week

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto will fulfill the KPK's summons next week (VOI / Wardhany Tsa Tsia).

The Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP), Hasto Kristiyanto, plans to visit the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) next week. He admitted that he was ready to be questioned as a witness to the alleged bribery of the Ministry of Transportation's DJKA (Kemenhub).

"If we can come, the legal team will communicate it, (if, ed.) next week we can come, we will come," Hasto told reporters at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, South Jakarta, Saturday, July 20, 2024.

Hasto should have been summoned by the KPK on Friday, July 19, 2024. However, he admitted that he did not know about the call because he had just returned from Yogyakarta. In addition, the recipient of the letter from the Anti-corruption Commission is the driver.

"I was on duty in Yogyakarta, (the letter) was received by our driver and then there was no report. So, I don't know," he said.

"So, yesterday we really apologize that we were unable to attend the call because yesterday I chaired the Pilkada meeting," said the former member of the DPR RI.

Even so, Hasto has looked at the statement of the Deputy Secretary General of PDIP, Yosep Aryo Adhie Dharmo, who had already been asked for information about the DJKA corruption case.

"I personally have nothing to do with it," he said.

"There is no business. So, if I am referred to as a consultant, it is indeed on my ID card. You see, I used to work in a state-owned company whose scope was consulting," said Hasto.

Previously reported, the KPK summoned PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto in the bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation's DJKA (Kemenhub). He was questioned on Friday, July 19, 2024.

Hasto in the witness examination schedule was written as a consultant. The distribution was in accordance with his recorded work.

In addition, the Anti-corruption Commission has also summoned Hasto in the Harun Masiku case. He then complied with the investigator's summons on Monday, June 10, 2024.
