Wasekjen PDIP Mengaku Dicecar KPK Soal Rumah Aspirasi Jokowi-Ma'ruf Yang Diurus Menhub Budi Karya

JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Yoseph Aryo Adhie said he had undergone examination as a witness in a corruption case at the KPK on Thursday, July 18. He was said to have been questioned as a witness by investigators regarding the DJKA bribery case.

Adhie explained that investigators clarified a number of things. Including his photo with the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi, which was mentioned several times in this case.

"The examination was summoned regarding my photo together with Pak Budi Karya Sumadi," said Yoseph as quoted from his written statement, Saturday, July 20.

In addition, Adhie also provided information to investigators about the operation of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin Winning Team in the 2019 Election. One of them is about the aspirations of the volunteers he reported to Budi Karya.

As for the winning team at that time, the chairman was Erick Thohir who became Minister of SOEs and Hasto Kristiyanto as his secretary. Meanwhile, Adhie at that time was the Head of the Secretariat of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin Winning Team in the 2019 Election.

"Because the formation of the Aspiration House at the beginning was as directed by Erick Thohir as the head of the winning team that the operation of the Aspiration House was handled by Pak Budi Karya Sumadi. My assignment was to appear before Pak Budi Karya Sumadi on the orders of Mr. Hasto Kristiyanto in his capacity as secretary of the winning team Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin," explained Adhie.

As for the examination, he was carried out several hours, from around 10:00 WIB until it was finished at around 18.30 WIB. Meanwhile, the anti-corruption commission has yet to provide a response regarding the examination.
