JAKARTA - The Head of the Puncak Jaya Police, AKBP Kuswara, said that the bodies and three injured victims in the riots in Mulia were evacuated to Jayapura using charter planes.
Abdulah Jailani's body (30 years old) upon arrival in Jayapura was immediately flown to his hometown in Probolinggo via Surabaya, East Java.
Meanwhile, three other victims who were injured, namely Surati alias Bude Nina (35 years), Sani Lololembang (35) and Arif (45) who were also evacuated to Jayapura were immediately taken to the hospital.
The Head of the Puncak Jaya Police, AKBP Kuswara, explained that apart from the fatalities in the riots, seven vehicles were burned, six of which belonged to the TNI-Polri.
The riots began with the death of three residents suspected of being members of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) as a result of being shot by security forces on Tuesday (16/7) night in Karubate Village, Mulia District.
