Alert! 11 Regions In Indonesia Still Have The Potential For Thunderstorms Today

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that as many as eleven provinces in Indonesia have the potential to rain accompanied by lightning. The areas that have the potential to be hit by rain accompanied by lightning are the provinces of Aceh, West Sumatra, Riau Islands, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, and East Kalimantan. In addition to rain accompanied by lightning, BMKG also predicts heavy rains have the potential to occur in a number of provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, Lampung, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, and Papua.

Then, there is also a warning regarding the potential for rain accompanied by impacts such as flooding in a number of areas including North Sumatra, South Sulawesi, and Papua. East Nusa Tenggara, North Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, Maluku, West Papua, and Papua.
