National Police Chief Sends Propam And Irwasum To Complete Vina Cirebon Case

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo again emphasized that he had deployed the Professional and Security Division (Propam) of the National Police and the General Supervision Inspectorate (Itwasum) to investigate the murder cases of Vina and Eky Cirebon.

This includes handling reports related to the 2016 murder case.

"Some time ago there was a report at Bareskrim related to the travel process in West Java and we are currently investigating it, we are lowering Propam, Irwasum to carry out deepening related to existing events," said Sigit to reporters, Wednesday, July 17.

According to him, even though the murder case occurred eight years ago, the National Police still had an obligation to solve it.

In fact, Sigit stated that he would fully open the findings or results of investigations and investigations into the community when the process was completed.

"Of course we have an obligation to do an in-depth investigation so that when everything is complete, we will convey it to the public in a transparent manner about the facts we find," said Sigit.

In this case, the police have named 8 suspects in 2016. They include seven convicts in the murder cases of Vina and Eky, namely, Eka Sandi, Hadi Saputra, Supriyanto, Rivaldi, Eko, Jaya, Sudirman, and Saka Tatal.

Of the eight people, only Saka Tatal has been released. While the rest are still languishing in iron bars because in the trial they were sentenced to life imprisonment.

In addition, there is also the name of Pegi Setiawan who was in the spotlight because he was named a suspect.

However, his suspect's status died because he won in the pretrial lawsuit at the Bandung District Court (PN).
