Head of BPBD Tangerang Regency, Ujat Sudrajat, in Tangerang, said that the body of the drowning victim named Ripai (23), a resident of Cisauk Kaler, Situgadung, Pagedangan District, was found by officers at 04.00 WIB.
"While officers were combing the location around the crime scene, it was found that the victim drowned floating in the middle of the lake where when the victim was found the victim was dead," he said.
He said the SAR team immediately evacuated the victim using a body bag and then taken him to the nearest hospital for examination. Furthermore, it was handed over to the family for burial.
"After being evacuated, further examination was carried out by the South Tangerang Police Inafis. The victim was taken to the Tangerang Hospital, then taken to the victim's residence in Malingping Lebak where it was handed over to the family," he said.
Previously, since Sunday, July 14 at around 16.00 WIB, the victim of Ripai was declared missing while fishing with two of her colleagues in the Citra project lake.
