JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Johanis Tanak plans to run again as the leader for the 2024-2029 period. He said he would register today, Monday, July 15.
"Friends of the KPK leadership want me to participate in the selection of KPK candidates," Johanis said when contacted by VOI, Monday, July 15.
Johanis said support was given by his colleague because he only took office once. So, he is expected to be back in the future.

"Therefore, I hope and invite all the best Indonesian citizens to participate in the selection of KPK leaders for the period 2024-2029, show commitment and dedication in eradicating corruption by becoming candidates for the leadership of the KPK," he said.
"Corruption will not run out without going down to the arena to eradicate one of them by becoming a KPK leader. The more participants will be more likely to be selected for the best," continued Ghufron.
As previously reported, the Selection Committee (Pansel) for Candidates for Leadership (Kapim) and the KPK Supervisory Board revealed that the number of registrants will continue to increase on the last day or Monday, July 15.
