JAKARTA - PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep visited Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto at the Golkar Party DPP.

Kaesang arrived at the banyan headquarters at 17.01 WIB, Thursday, July 11. Kaesang's presence was welcomed by the Secretary General of Golkar Lodewijk F Paulus and his staff. Meanwhile, Airlangga was already waiting in the meeting room.

Kaesang, who wore a white red jacket, just smiled without conveying a message.

Previously, Airlangga said the discussion of the Golkar and PSI meeting was about the 2024 Pilkada. Airlangga was ready to put his ears on the political plan of President Joko Widodo's youngest son.

"We haven't heard of it. I haven't heard of it, haven't met it yet, so tomorrow (today) we'll hear," said Airlangga at the Jakarta Presidential Complex, Wednesday, July 10.

Meanwhile, Golkar cadre Dito Ariotedjo said that the meeting between the two would simply reconcile the heroes in the 2024 Pilkada in various regions.

"No (discussing nominations in Jakarta). Mas Kaesang is the general chairman of PSI and we have seconds before August (registration of regional elections), of course we, fellow coalitions, must align the pilkada champions," said Dito.

Regarding the potential for candidacy in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election, Dito left it entirely to Kaesang's decision. "Wow, it depends on Mas Kaesang himself, wherever the survey is good," he said.
