TANGERANG - Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Tangerang Regency, Banten, Moch Maesyal Rasyid has officially submitted his resignation or early retirement as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) because he will run for regent in the Simultaneous Pilkada on November 27, 2024.

"With various considerations, I have proposed an early retirement," said Maesyal Rasyid in a morning rally held at Maulana Yudhanegara Field, Tangerang Regency Puspemkab, quoted by ANTARA Monday, July 8.

He said that since starting his career as an ASN after graduating from the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN) and now he has a 41-year career as an ASN within the Tangerang Regency Government.

He chose to retire early because he would run at the Simultaneous Regional Head Elections as a candidate for regent. "And this is my last apple as regional secretary at the Tangerang Regency Puspemkab," he said.

He conveyed his pride and joy, and had many impressions during his tenure as an ASN in the Tangerang Regency Government, making it hard to forget. "Of course, there are many messages and impressions experienced. This is a very difficult thing to forget, where are the times of serving the community for 41 years," he said.

He advised all ASN within the Tangerang Regency Government to continue to work hard and always innovate to provide the best service to the community, in order to create a more brilliant Tangerang Regency.

"For all ASN, of course, must continue to be enthusiastic in providing services to the community. Help the Acting (Pj) Tangerang Regent to take care of Tangerang Regency," he said.

It is known that currently he has received recommendations and support from several political parties to become candidates for regent of Tangerang Regency in the 2024 Pilkada. The party that has provided recommendations and provided support is the Gerindra Party.
