JAKARTA - The West Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General Suharyono, stated that he would study any information regarding Afif Maulana's death series at the Kuranji Bridge, Padang.

The statement was in response to the confession of Afif Maulana's family who claimed to be asked by the police to sign an agreement letter. It contains the question of not demanding further the case of the teenager's death.

Previously, Afif Maulana's father, Afrinaldi, had mentioned that there was a police officer who asked Afif's grandfather to sign a letter containing an agreement so that the 13-year-old teenager's death case would not be continued.

"Yes, at that time the grandfather (asked for signature), the fall was Aunt's husband, that was him who went first to the police station. So he communicated with the police officer. He said he was told to sign a letter so he wouldn't sue," said Afrinaldi.

It's just that, at that time the family refused to sign the letter. The reason, because of suspicion and suspicion, there was an irregularity behind Afif's death.
