Investigate Pastor Gilbert's Blasphemy, Police Wait For File Delegation

TANGERANG - Police are still investigating the alleged blasphemy case committed by Pastor Gilbert Lumoindong. The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi, said that his party had investigated the reported party.

"It is true that Brother G has been investigated for investigation or interrogation. An interrogation report has been made to the reported party," Ade Ary told reporters in Bintaro, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Thursday, July 4.

Currently, his party is still conducting an investigation and waiting for a report to Gilbert to be transferred to Polda Metro Jaya.

"Investigators are still waiting for some files from other areas to be transferred. Then a case will be held," he concluded.

For information, Pastor Gilbert Lumoindong went viral because his lecture compared zakat between Muslims and Christians.

From the video circulating on social media, Pastor Gilbert is considered to have insulted Islam because he only paid zakat 2.5 percent and boasted because Christians used to give up 10 percent.
