JAKARTA - An elderly grandfather (elderly) named Zaenal Samsuro (66) was paraded by a resident of Kalipasir, Menteng District, because he was caught stealing money in a charity box. He was desperate to steal because he did not have the money to buy drugs to go down in sex.

The perpetrators were desperate to steal money from the charity box in Musala Arrohmah in RW 10, Kebon Sirih Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta.

However, the residents managed to identify the perpetrators. The perpetrator was arrested on Thursday, July 4, at noon, although he had fled from the prayer room.

When interrogated by residents, the perpetrator admitted that he had acted in the same location 7 times. One of the residents said that initially the perpetrators gave permission to take the Dzuhur prayer in Musala Arrohmah.

Residents who were suspicious, then stalked the perpetrator's movements. Residents then caught the perpetrator taking money in the charity box using a lidy attached to rubber candy at the end.

Residents who caught him immediately reprimanded him. The panicked perpetrator then fled from the prayer room.

However, residents swiftly ambushed the perpetrators who had fled to the end of the alley. Angry residents occasionally throw punches repeatedly.

When asked by residents, the elderly from Bojonggede admitted that they had acted 7 times in Musala Arrohmah.

"It's been 7 times, sir," said the perpetrator, laughing.

The perpetrator admitted that he was desperate to steal a charity box to buy take-out drugs (hernia).

"To buy medicine, sir, it hurts with sex (hernia)," he said.

The perpetrators were then secured to the Menteng Metro Police for further processing.
