JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono asked the DKI Jakarta Education Office to accelerate the disbursement of the 2024 Jakarta Smart Card (KJP).
Some of the KJP recipients have yet to receive the disbursement of the education aid funds. This complaint was made by residents when Heru made a visit to Palmerah, West Jakarta, yesterday.
"Later, I will ask for an acceleration (disbursement to all KJP recipients)," Heru told reporters in Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 4.
Heru admitted that he had signed the governor's regulation (pergub) for the 2024 KJP Plus disbursement. However, he did not deny that the DKI Disdik verification process hampered the distribution.
"Two weeks ago I signed (the governor's regulation). Hopefully the process goes well. Each of them looks at the account," said Heru.
Yesterday, Heru inaugurated a house repair program in Palmerah Village. After the activity, a woman's call was heard to Heru. The mother asked Heru to hear her complaint. He complained that the distribution of KJP funds to his child had not yet been disbursed.
"The KJP has not been disbursed, sir, no, sir, it has not yet been entered, it is still in process, sir, it is still in process," the mother exclaimed, Wednesday, July 3.
The KJP complaint that has not been disbursed has also been conveyed by a number of residents on the DKI Jakarta Education Office's Instagram account. They asked for certainty about the status of the KJP disbursement of students who are still in the verification process.
Meanwhile, Disdik replied through the comments column in their account content upload. Disdik admitted that there are still a number of KJP Plus recipients in phase I 2024 who are still being verified.
"For prospective KJP Plus recipients phase I in 2024 on the website of the 'Student Service verification process', currently it is still being re-verified by relevant stakeholders. This effort is made to ensure that the social assistance received by the recipient is right on target," he explained.
