Chairman of the PDIP DPP Utut Adianto assessed that the former TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa was not suitable to become a candidate for deputy governor (cawagub) accompanying Anies Baswedan. According to him, Andika is suitable as a candidate for governor. "For Mr. Anies and Mr. Andika, I don't know if this is also a proposal from the PDI-P. If it is mentioned, I don't want to argue with our party cadres. If the proposal comes from anywhere," said Utut at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 3. "But Mr. Andika is the commander of the TNI, if he is the deputy governor, he will save me later, I don't think it's right. If he wants to be governor," he continued. However, the chairman of the PDIP faction of the DPR has not been able to confirm which Pilkada Andika Perkasa will be nominated. "Of course he also has to, if the soccer player has to run small, warm up, where is the area? We'll check it later," said Utut. According to him, Andika is suitable to lead Central Java. But on the other hand, PDIP is also considering the name of the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Lutfi. "Now there is a Central Java Police Chief, Mr. Luthfi wants to run for governor, if I save him, Mr. Andika is willing, Mr. Andika can go to Central Java, why not Jakarta? Later the mosaics will be different, Central Java will be around 28.5 million voters," explained Utut.
