The Judicial Commission (KY) announced the names of candidates for Supreme Court justices and Ad Hoc HAM who passed the third selection stage, namely health and personality selection, in an online press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 2.

KY Member and Spokesperson Mukti Fajar Nur Dewata first explained that the institution had carried out a health selection on April 22-23, 2024.

Then proceed with an online personality test and competence on April 24 to 30, 2024 and clarification of the track record carried out directly by the commissioner from May 27 to June 28, 2024.

As a result, there were 19 candidates for Supreme Court justices and three candidates for Ad Hoc HAM judges of the Supreme Court who were elected to advance to the interview test stage.

The interview stage will be held on July 8-11, 2024. Later, the prospective judges will be interviewed by seven KY commissioners, two KY experts from external parties, and the general public who can attend directly at the KY Office or online.

"The proposal for a candidate to the DPR will be carried out on July 12, 2024, after the completion or determination of the candidate who passes the interview test," he said.

On the same occasion, KY member who is also the Head of the Recruitment Division of Judge M. Taufiq HZ said the names of the elected candidates were based on the results of the KY plenary meeting on July 2, 2024.
