North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum assessed that President Joe Biden's incumbent was unable to become the United States (US) 'highest commander'.
Burgum's view is related to the US having international rivals from Russia, China to Iran.
"Biden... You know, he is unable to take office at this time," said Burgum at the "Meet the Press" event on NBC News, days after the first debate of the 2024 US Presidential Election between Biden and Trump, quoted by NBC News, Monday, July 1.
"The whole America sees it," he continued.
Burgum, who entered the stock exchange for a potential vice presidential candidate to accompany Donald Trump in the 2024 US Presidential Election, said the threat to the real US required a qualified supreme leader.
"Our enemies also saw it. Putin saw it. Xi saw it. Ayatullah saw it. I mean, this nation continues to talk about elections, we face greater national security risks today than on Thursday, because the supreme commander shows that he is unable to carry out his duties," said Burgum.
Burgum's statement after several days of the Democratic Party's efforts to distort Biden's sluggish performance in the first debate of the 2024 US Presidential Election.
Furthermore, when asked about the extent of his certainty as Trump's vice presidential candidate, Burgum was reluctant to elaborate further.
"That's a matter between the president [Trump] and me," replied Burgum,
Burgum is known to be on the list of potential Trump assistant candidates, apart from Republican Senators Marco Rubio and JD Vance.
