PDIP Considers A Third Axis, Carrying Andika Perkasa Or Risma

The PDI-P is considering forming a third axis by carrying out its own governorial candidate by forming a coalition with other political parties (political parties).

The party bearing the white-nosed bull signaled that it would carry the former TNI commander General Andika Perkasa or Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini.

"In the internal, the first priority names of Mr. Andika have begun to be inventoried for the candidate for governor of DKI. If later we can carry it ourselves, whether Mr. Andika or Mrs. Risma or others later, because we are in order to inventory the names, PDIP Perjuangan, if possible, in the context of working with other parties alone, and fulfilling the pillars of faith, the number of seats is 22 seats, we will run alone," said PDIP DPP Chairman Said Abdullah, Monday, July 1.

According to Said, the two figures had indeed been discussed from the start to be pushed forward for the Jakarta gubernatorial election. However, he said, his party was still looking at the dynamics in the future.

"If the two candidates have been around since the beginning of the idea. But then the constellation must be seen, we want regional elections throughout Indonesia, especially Jakarta, to be a vehicle for all of us, that the contestation that will come in the DKI regional elections is cool, comfortable for all parties is far from exciting even though the name is also a competition," said Said.

Said said that PDIP continues to communicate intensively with PKB to cooperate in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. Likewise with other political parties.

"PDI Perjuangan, Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa dan partai lain bahkan kami masih terus melakukan pembicaraan karena memang semakin banyak teman semakin baik. Karena Jakarta itu tingkat kebinekatannya juga tinggi maka lebih baik bekerja sama dengan partai politik," katanya.

Nevertheless, Said admitted that his party was also considering Anies Baswedan, who had been officially supported by PKS and DPW PKB Jakarta. It's just that, he said, Anies' name has not been reported to the general chairman of Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"Then we communicated with various parties, that in the end, as conveyed by our secretary general, Mr. Hasto Kristyanto that Anies was also part of the consideration. However, these are still initial processes that have not been included in the DPP meeting and have not been reported to the general chairman," he concluded.
