JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the majority of Indonesia's territory will be covered with clouds until cloudy skies on Friday, June 28. Based on the official website of BMKG reported by ANTARA, BMKG predicts a number of areas such as Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Serang, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Jambi, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Tarakan, Bandar Lampung, Ternate, Manokwari, Manado, and Medan are predicted to be cloudy in the morning and afternoon. Meanwhile, the weather in several areas such as Bengkulu, Semarang, Surabaya, Pangkal Pinang, Tanjung Pinang, Makassar, Kendari, and Bandung is predicted to be cloudy. Hujan is also predicted to fall in a number of locations with light to heavy intensity such as in Gorontalo, Jambi at night and early morning, Bandung at night, Samarinda, Pekanbaru in the early hours of the morning, Mamuju in the afternoon and evening, as well as Medan at night. BMKG Main Expert Engineer Urip Haryoko said that the uncertain weather in accordance with the season was the impact of climate change which is currently being discussed at the global level.
