Nasdem Approved In North Sumatra Gubernatorial Election, Bobby Nasution: Thank You, Mr. Surya Paloh

The General Chairperson of the Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh, expressed his party's support for the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution to run in the 2024 North Sumatra governor and deputy governor election (Pilgub).

Responding to this, Bobby Nasution, who is also President Joko Widodo's son-in-law, expressed his gratitude for the support given to him. This was conveyed by Bobby after reviewing a number of Medan City Government projects in the Medan Labuhan District, North Sumatra, on Thursday 27 June.

According to Bobby, the support given by the Chairman of the Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh, is a great appreciation for him to carry out his duties in building North Sumatra even better.

"Yes, thank you, Mr. Surya Paloh. This is a big appreciation for us to carry out our duties later," said Bobby.

Previously, Surya Paloh said his party had determined the direction of support in the 2024 North Sumatra Pilgub. He said he would support Bobby Nasution.

Apart from the Nasdem Party, Bobby Nasution also received support from a number of Gerindra parties, the Democratic Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), and the Golkar Party.
