Sahroni Concerning The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election: I Hold Anies When Complained With Ridwan Kamil

General treasurer of the NasDem Party Ahmad Sahroni believes Anies Baswedan will win in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election against former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.

He conveyed this after mentioning that Ridwan Kamil was very easy to beat in front of the Jakarta NasDem Party DPW cadre during the party consolidation event, Sunday, June 23.

"If I head to head together with RK, I'll fight it," Sahroni told reporters at the NasDem Party State Defense Academy, Jakarta.

"If RK is with Anies, if it is contested, I will hold Anies," continued the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI.

Sahroni said Anies would be a difficult competitor in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. In fact, he, who has popularity in Jakarta, is confident that he will lose.

"Competitioner is difficult for me? If I play Anies, I will lose, I will lose," he said.

As previously reported, Ahmad Sahroni, who is the General Treasurer of the NasDem Party, said defeating Ridwan Kamil in the Jakarta gubernatorial election was not a tough thing. He said, it is not enough to be famous as capital to advance because residents have different characteristics.

"That's why I once said that against Ridwan Kamil it was very easy. It was very easy. Why? Because Jakarta is different. All people are modern. And not people like other areas," said Sahroni of the NasDem State Defense Academy, Jakarta.

Sahroni also said that Jakarta residents were more complex because of the many problems they faced. The capital of money and being famous is not enough based on his experience as a candidate for the DPR RI for the Jakarta III electoral district.

"So it's not just that he's famous, but he's at authentic voters," he said.

"Only the DPR has not received it because Jakarta is not easy. Having money is not necessarily finished. Moreover, it doesn't have money. It's not getting worse. And this is the rhetoric of Jakarta," continued the deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI.
