Regional Head Candidates In NTB Have Not Been Determined, Golkar Awaits Survey Results Referral

JAKARTA - The results of the Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI) will be a reference for all candidates for regional heads to strengthen their electability through socialization and intensive campaigns to look to the Pilkada in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) simultaneously on November 27, 2024.

Secretary of the NTB Golkar DPD, Firadz Parizka, said that the results of this survey will be a reference for prospective candidates to strengthen the electability of candidates for governors, regents, mayors through intensive socialization and campaigns.

"The Golkar Party will continue to monitor the development of the electability of the candidates through further surveys before deciding on final support," he said in Mataram, Tuesday, June 18.

According to Firadz, there are still two more surveys to be carried out until early August. The survey process is important to ensure that party support decisions are based on accurate and up-to-date data.

He also emphasized the importance of intensive electoral work from prospective candidates to increase their chances of getting party support.

On June 13, 2024, the NTB Golkar Party DPD presented the results of the latest survey from the Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI) Denny JA regarding the map of the strength of the candidates for regional heads and deputy regional heads for the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.

This survey includes the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of NTB, as well as the election of regional heads and deputy regional heads in 10 regencies/cities throughout NTB. This presentation was carried out in a closed meeting attended by prospective candidates who had received a letter of assignment from the party.

Especially for the East Lombok Regency Pilkada, LSI Denny JA placed Syamsul Lutfi - Abdul Wahid in the top position with an electability of 38.4 percent, followed by Hairul Warisin - Edwin Hadiwijaya with 21.6 percent, and the Rumaksi - Amrul Jihadi pair in third place with 17.7 percent. A total of 22.3 percent of respondents have not made a choice.

As for Mataram City, the survey results show that the current Mayor of Mataram Mohan Roliskana is at the peak of the choice of residents with 43.6 percent. The closest competitors are Deputy Mayor of Mataram TGH Mujiburrahman with 13 percent, followed by Hj Putu Selly Andayani with 8.9 percent, HMuzihir with 4.3 percent, and Abd. Rachman with 3.9 percent.
