A number of decisions were made from this meeting. Among other things, unanimously asking the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, to provide recommendations to Sudaryono running as a candidate for governor in the Central Java gubernatorial election (Pilgub).

Those who are also supporters of Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election yesterday asked for the recommendation to be issued in the near future. This is because most of the people of Central Java want a leader like Sudaryono.

"Pak Prabowo, we are in the lower flow of society throughout Central Java asking you to immediately issue recommendations for the Central Java gubernatorial election. We ask the party that you lead (Gerindra Party) to carry Sudaryono," said General Chairperson of Tani Merdeka Don Muzakir, a journalist representing the cross-element coordinator, quoted from a written statement, Sunday, April 16, 2024.

As a supporter who has succeeded in bringing Prabowo-Gibran as president and vice president-elect, he assesses that this request is not far-fetched and does not conflict with the party led by Prabowo. Moreover, previously Gerindra wanted to carry its own cadres in the Pilkada in Indonesia.

"That's why we asked Pak Prabowo to immediately issue a recommendation for Sudaryono. So far, this is our request as a supporter of you during yesterday's presidential election," said Don Muzakir.

In addition, Sudaryono, who now serves as Chairman of the Central Java Gerindra Party DPD, also has the capacity and integrity to lead Central Java in a better direction. Even making Central Java developed well.

"Sudaryono is the right choice for us. He has a deep understanding of the needs of rural communities, especially farmers who are the backbone of the economy in Central Java. For this reason, Mr. Prabowo should immediately issue recommendations," said Don Muzakir.

"We believe that Sudaryono can provide policies that support local economic development, including protection and improving the welfare of traditional market traders in Central Java," he said.

Don Muzakir said the request from a number of elements was not without basis. Apart from having the capacity, Sudaryono is also successful in several survey institutions. For this reason, they asked Prabowo Subianto to issue a recommendation to carry Sudaryono as a candidate for governor of Central Java.

"If you look at the survey, Mas Dar's (Sudaryono) electability is also not in doubt. His name is always in the top three. He has even been ranked first in the survey," said Don Muzakir.

In addition, this meeting also discussed strategies in winning Sudaryono as Governor of Central Java. "For the strategy, we cannot express it, wait for the game date," he concluded.
