Central Jakarta Satpol PP Conducts Takbiran Night Patrols Along Horse Statue Areas To Senayan Roundabout

A total of 250 personnel from the Central Jakarta City Government Satpol PP were deployed to secure the night of Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijri.

"In the Horse Statue area to the Senayan Roundabout, there are around 250 personnel tonight during the takbiran night," said Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP, TP Purba to reporters, Sunday, June 16, evening.

A total of 250 personnel are spread across eight sub-districts, each sub-district has different location points to guard.

For the Thamrin-Sudirman area, his party has deployed 100 personnel to stand guard until 22.00 WIB.

This guard is focused on preventing acts of violation of peace and public order (trantibum) as instructed from the DKI Jakarta Provincial level. Security is also assisted by TNI personnel, Polri, and other joint personnel.

"We take turns with limited personnel shortages, but we optimize it so that we can guard it until night, because if it is released there will definitely be a lot of disruptions to the transcription. Especially by night, we are both with the Police in the field to guard it," he said.

The security carried out by the Satpol PP targets PPKS (Social Welfare Service Needers) on the protocol road.

"There is no accumulation of mobile coffee traders who are usually at the HI Roundabout. So we keep it in synergy with the Police that we are guarding along Thamrin-Sudirman so that it is clean and safe from transtibum disturbances, that is the main task of our function," he said.

In addition, Kasatpol PP will also guard the Istiqlal Mosque area during the Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijri prayer on Monday, June 17, tomorrow. The personnel are 100 people who will be ready starting at 04.00 WIB tomorrow.
