Gerindra Legislators Reveal Members Of The DPR And DPRD Are Also Exposed To Online Gambling

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI from the Gerindra faction, Habiburokhman, responded to the number of Polri and TNI members who were involved in online gambling problems that resulted in fatalities. Habiburokhman revealed that the problem was targeting many circles. In fact, he said, there were also members of the DPR and DPRD who were exposed to online gambling.

"Any profession is very likely to be exposed to online gambling because the circulation is quite wide. In the DPR, I heard that there were also friends who were exposed," said Habiburokhman, in his statement, Saturday, June 15.

Therefore, the Jakarta electoral district legislator asked all parties to increase their awareness of the dangers of online gambling. Because according to him, online gambling can disrupt the economy to performance.

"Don't underestimate it, for example there are one or two exposed but gradually disrupting the family's economy as well as can interfere with its performance," he appealed.

Habiburokhman also reminded that economic difficulties cannot be overcome by online gambling. According to him, there needs to be monitoring from the environment if there are indications of residents or members of agencies involved in judol.

"So the cellphone is checked regularly and reminded by his superiors that overcoming economic difficulties, small salaries cannot be done with online gambling," he concluded.
