10 November 2020

Rizieq escaped from the UMMI Bogor Hospital (RS) through the back door after being treated since last November 25. President Director of Bogor UMMI Hospital Andi Tata said, Rizieq was just exhausted so he had to be treated.

Rizeiq also passed the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test or swab test. For this reason, the Bogor City Government reported the UMMI Hospital to the Police. As a place of reference for COVID, UMMI Hospital does not undergo procedural procedures.

The National Police Headquarters announced Rizieq Shihab's new status as a crowd suspect in Petamburan. The National Police conducted a case against the Rizieq Shihab crowd in Megamendung, Bogor, West Java. A week later, on December 26 to be precise, Rizieq's status was announced as a suspect.

January 11, 2021

Rizieq Shihab was named a suspect in the case at the Bogor Ummi Hospital. Apart from Rizieq, the National Police named 2 other people as suspects, namely

Andi Tatat (President Director of Bogor Ummi Hospital), and Hanif Alatas (Rizieq Shihab's family party).

12 January 2021

The judge rejected the pretrial lawsuit filed by Rizieq's party regarding the status of the suspect in the Petamburan crowd. According to the judge, Akhmad Sahyuti, all the series of investigations by the National Police on the case were in accordance with procedures and were valid. "To try, reject the pretrial petition from the petitioner in its entirety," said Sahyuti when reading the verdict at the South Jakarta District Court.

The pretrial was filed on December 15, 2020. The attorney sued the determination of the suspect Rizieq who was charged with Article 216 of the Criminal Code in the case of a crowd during his daughter's wedding, and the Prophet's birthday on November 14, 2020 and the element of deliberation in Article 160 of the Criminal Code.

In the second pretrial, Rizieq's team sued Rizieq's arrest because he did not have a legal basis as stipulated in the Chief of Police Regulation Number 6 concerning Criminal Investigation. The pretrial lawsuit was filed on February 3 and registered under the number 11 / Pid. Pra / 2021 / PN South Jakarta.
