West Java Police Submits Case Files For Vina Cirebon To The Prosecutor's Office Next Week

The West Java (Jabar) Regional Police have confirmed that they will complete the case file for the murder of the murder cases of Vina and Muhammad Rizky or Eky in Cirebon to the West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) next week. The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Jules Abraham Abast, said that currently investigators from the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) are still examining a number of witnesses and suspects, Pegi Setiawan, who are expected to be completed next week. "We will try it as soon as possible. Please pray that next week we can convey the file to our fellow public prosecutor,” said Jules in Bandung, Antara, Thursday, June 12. Jules mengatakan, pihaknya telah melakukan pemeriksaan tes psikologi forensik terhadap Pegi Setiawan untuk melengkapi penyelidikan pada kasus tersebut. "We from the West Java Regional Police hope that the forensic psychological examination will further shed light on the ongoing criminal events and complement the ongoing investigation process," said Jules. He said that forensic psychological examinations were also carried out not only on the suspect Pegi, but also on several witnesses, including the examination of the Pegi family. He added that his party had summoned three witnesses and did not rule out additional summons for witnesses to be examined for forensic psychological tests. To ensure the forensic psychological examination method, he said, the West Java Regional Police involved external parties which were expected to be a strong clue in handling the case. “ Of course forensic psychological examinations will develop depending on the need. In the future there are approximately three witnesses who we will conduct forensic psychology examinations,” Jules said.

Furthermore, Jules stated that the investigation process had been carried out professionally and assured that the case would be disclosed transparently. "Currently, Kompolnas and Komnas HAM have been monitoring the ongoing investigation process," he said.
