Carrying Ilham Habibie In West Java Gubernatorial Election, NasDem Intensify Communication To PKS And PKB

JAKARTA - The NasDem Party decided to carry the eldest son of the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia BJ Habibie, Ilham Akbar Habibie, as a candidate for governor (cagub)/cawagub of West Java.

The NasDem Party has also begun to build intensive communication with political parties carrying Anies Baswedan, namely PKB and PKS to jointly support Ilham Habibie in the 2024 West Java Pilkada.

"We are building communication, yes, we are intensively building NasDem, PKS, PKB," said the chairman of the West Java NasDem Party DPW, Saan Mustopa, Wednesday, June 12.

However, when he said, until now NasDem has not determined who will accompany Ilham Habibie in the West Java gubernatorial election.

"If we don't know yet, who will we encourage to become a potential companion for Mr. Ilham Habibie," he said.

Therefore, Saan hopes that NasDem, PKS, and PKB can discuss who will be promoted in the composition of the cagub=cawagub.

"Well, the problem is later who will be the cagub and the cawagub, they will be negotiated. But until today we have not discussed it with the representatives," he concluded.
