LPSK Receives 10 Protection Applications In Vina Cirebon Case: Some Claim To Be Threatened

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) stated that it received 10 requests for protection related to the murder case of Vina and Muhammad Rizky or Eky in Cirebon.

The ten people are parties suspected of knowing the incident of the murder and also from the victim's family. "Currently, of the many applications. LPSK has received application applications as many as 10 people," said LPSK Chairman Achmadi to reporters, Tuesday, June 11.

However, LPSK has not yet decided to grant or reject the request. This is because the assessment process is still ongoing.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of LPSK Sri Suparyati said that of the 10 people who applied for protection, some of them claimed to be under pressure and threats.

But they did not convey the form of threat they experienced. Only conveyed by LPSK is still investigating it because their statements are often inconsistent.

"Regarding the threat pressure to this day, yes, there are some of them but we are still investigating, they are still feeling it, yes, we are still exploring it again," he said.

"Because of that, their statements were still unclear, so we also deserve to be careful," continued Sri.

In handling the murder cases of Vina and Muhammad Rizky or Eky, the West Java Regional Police have appointed Pegi Setiawan alias Perong as suspects.

In addition, there were also seven perpetrators, namely Jaya, Supriyanto, Eka Sandi, Hadi Saputra, Eko Ramadhani, Sudirman, and Rivaldi Aditya Wardana, who had been sentenced to life imprisonment.

Then, there is another one, Saka Tatal. He was released from prison after serving 8 years in prison.
